Case Veritas was founded by Dr. Andrew Tisser and Gina Marra, RN LCSW LNC CLCP, to bring physician-level clinical judgment to the medical-damages side of plaintiff litigation.
Whether the question is what a catastrophic injury will cost across a lifetime or whether a case has clinical merit in the first place, the answer has to be built on the medicine: read carefully, reasoned through, and documented to withstand the defense. That is the standard we apply to every life care plan, cost projection, and merit review we produce.
We work with catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, birth injury, and mass-tort attorneys, anyone carrying substantial future medical damages who needs those damages proven, not merely asserted.
The Case Veritas Model
Catastrophic care is multidisciplinary in the real world, so serious life care planning should be too. Every plan is built by two Certified Life Care Planners from different clinical disciplines — a physician/CLCP and a nurse/CLCP — with one serving as designated author and the other performing formal peer review, and both signing the final plan. Discipline-specific specialists own their clinical recommendations when indicated, and the designated author reconciles that input through one methodology rather than stapling it on as isolated opinions.
We keep it boutique on purpose. The clinicians whose names are on the work are the ones directly involved in your case: one integrated plan, multiple clinical perspectives, a shared life care planning methodology. That is what makes it transparent, reproducible, and defensible under scrutiny.
Two CLCPs, Two Disciplines
Every plan carries two Certified Life Care Planners — a physician/CLCP and a nurse/CLCP — so physician-level medical reasoning and nursing clinical judgment are both built in from the start rather than layered on as an afterthought.
Designated Author + Peer Review
One Certified Life Care Planner owns authorship of the plan end to end, and the other performs formal peer review, with both clinicians signing the final report. You always know who authored and who reviewed your plan.

When clinically indicated, we incorporate input from appropriately qualified specialists such as physiatry, PT, OT, SLP, rehabilitation nursing, and seating and mobility. Their recommendations are reconciled within a single life care planning methodology.

A medical cost projection is a focused analysis of future medical costs. A life care plan is a broader, structured document that projects all future care needs across the lifespan, including equipment, therapy, and attendant care, with costs. In your free consult we recommend which level fits your case: MCP ($3,000), focused LCP ($10,000), comprehensive multidisciplinary LCP ($15,000), or a custom complex plan starting at $20,000. Outside specialist fees, when a discipline expert is retained, are scoped and quoted separately.

Yes. Depending on the scope of the engagement, Case Veritas clinicians may provide consulting, report preparation, deposition testimony, or trial testimony. When a matter evolves from merit review into ongoing consultation or a formal life care planning or medical cost projection engagement, the scope and methodology applicable to each phase are clearly defined.

Turnaround depends on scope and record volume: an MCP is fastest, a comprehensive multidisciplinary plan takes longest because it may require a client evaluation and outside specialist input. We commit to a specific delivery date in writing at engagement, scoped to your mediation, disclosure, or expert deadline. To start we need records and billing, the injury and diagnosis picture, date of birth, treating-provider status, venue, and your deadline dates, all in electronic format.
All case materials are submitted through a secure intake process and reviewed by our clinical team. Case materials are handled securely and shared only with authorized professionals participating in the engagement when clinically necessary, such as a retained discipline specialist. A confidentiality agreement is available upon request.
Independent merit screening is a flat $1,250 with standard turnaround of five business days from receipt of complete records. A 48-hour rush is available for time-sensitive cases.
