What an MCP Is

A focused answer to a defined future-care question.

A medical cost projection estimates future treatment, follow-up, diagnostics, medications, and other defined medical costs supported by the record. It is narrower than a comprehensive life care plan and keeps the analysis aligned with the question counsel needs answered.

An MCP is appropriate when future care is defined and contained, a cost figure is needed for damages analysis, or a full multidisciplinary life care plan would exceed the clinical question.

Transparent scope

$3,000

Flat-rate medical cost projection engagement, quoted upfront. A $1,000 retainer is credited toward the professional fee.

Cost Methodology

Clinical need first. Cost research second.

Record-supported recommendations

Future care follows documented diagnoses, treatment history, prognosis, and clinical need.

Traceable geographic costing

Pricing research reflects the relevant geography and identifies the assumptions behind each figure.

Direct clinician involvement

A physician/CLCP and nurse/CLCP team develops the projection, with formal interdisciplinary review.

Medical Cost Projection vs. Life Care Plan

Use the deliverable that fits the question.

Medical Cost Projection

  • Defined future-care question
  • Focused cost analysis
  • Contained or single-system needs
  • $3,000 flat rate

Life Care Plan

  • Broader or evolving future needs
  • Multiple care domains or specialties
  • Lifetime planning framework
  • Focused, comprehensive, or custom scope

Use an MCP when the future-care question is defined and focused. Use a life care plan when future needs are broader, evolving, or multidisciplinary.

Our Team

The people behind the opinion.

Case Veritas is a dual-clinician practice: a physician and a nurse who review the record, take your calls, and sign the work. Your case is not handed from intake to an anonymous production team.
